Show allAllSkin overview
Battle-Scarred is the roughest version of this skull-pressed AWP and the most affordable way to own the design. Much of the dark coating is rubbed away on raised and exposed parts, leaving a patchy grey-silver surface. Because the finish is monochrome to begin with, the heavy wear reads as weathered metal rather than as damaged paint.
Item type: sniper rifle. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Battle-Scarred
The whole rifle is finished in charcoal and gunmetal grey with faint cool, bluish reflections. The long barrel carries a dense twisted texture that runs up to the muzzle brake, while the receiver is covered in pressed panels of small interlocking skulls with a larger skull emblem near the junction with the stock.
Large areas of the barrel, muzzle brake, scope and stock are rubbed down to grey-silver metal. The raised parts of the skull relief lose their coating, so the pattern becomes less defined and blotchy. In game the rifle reads as heavily weathered metal rather than a dark finish. Only the deepest recesses of the receiver panels still hold the original dark colour.
Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–1
The whole float range of Souvenir AWP | Exoskeleton is 0–1; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–1 segment (55% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir AWP | Exoskeleton belongs to The Operation Broken Fang Collection, which holds 17 skins.
It drops from Operation Broken Fang Case.

- Field-Tested — 3.5× dearer
- Well-Worn — 40% dearer
Based on the cheapest SkinOut.gg listing of each quality, otherwise on the market reference.

Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Monochrome, holo silver or black-and-white stickers keep the gunmetal look intact. A single accent in red or cold blue on the receiver can stand out against the dark skull relief without breaking the theme.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the grade, because the cleaner end keeps the muzzle brake and barrel edges noticeably darker.
- Look at the barrel and muzzle brake in the inspect view, since they are the first parts to show bare metal.
- Make sure applied stickers do not cover the skull emblem near the stock if that detail matters to you.
- See whether a name tag is applied and whether it fits the grim tone of the skin.
Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits
- Players looking for the lowest entry point to this AWP.
- Those who enjoy a heavily weathered grey-metal look.
- The budget pick for function and a rugged style.
