Show allAllSkin overview
Exoskeleton relies on texture rather than colour, so a used surface suits it better than it would suit a bright finish. In Field-Tested the dark coating starts to thin on the edges, and lighter metal shows through around the muzzle and the receiver corners. The skull pattern on the main panels still reads clearly, giving the rifle a worn, service-weapon character.
Item type: sniper rifle. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The whole rifle is finished in charcoal and gunmetal grey with faint cool, bluish reflections. The long barrel carries a dense twisted texture that runs up to the muzzle brake, while the receiver is covered in pressed panels of small interlocking skulls with a larger skull emblem near the junction with the stock.
Wear becomes visible on the muzzle brake, along the barrel, around the scope rings and on the receiver corners. The stock edges begin to show lighter metal in thin lines. The skull panels in the centre of the receiver are still mostly clean and readable. In game the rifle looks used but intact, and the monochrome scheme keeps it coherent.
Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38
The float of Souvenir AWP | Exoskeleton ranges from 0 to 1; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 23% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Monochrome, holo silver or black-and-white stickers keep the gunmetal look intact. A single accent in red or cold blue on the receiver can stand out against the dark skull relief without breaking the theme.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the grade, because the cleaner end keeps the muzzle brake and barrel edges noticeably darker.
- Look at the barrel and muzzle brake in the inspect view, since they are the first parts to show bare metal.
- Make sure applied stickers do not cover the skull emblem near the stock if that detail matters to you.
- See whether a name tag is applied and whether it fits the grim tone of the skin.
Who the Field-Tested quality suits
- Players who like a used, service-weapon look.
- Buyers who value the design over a pristine surface.
- A sensible everyday option for this skin.
