Show allAllSkin overview
Oni Taiji pairs a hand painted samurai and Oni scene with a purple barrel, and even heavily used it keeps that warm-against-dark colour split. Battle-Scarred sits at the very top of a float range that stops early, so the damage is heavy but not as extreme as on skins that go all the way. Expect a rough, battle-worn look with the demon art broken into patches.
Item type: sniper rifle. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred
The receiver is covered with the main scene: a samurai figure and Oni demon faces drawn in orange, gold and red with blue accents and dark outlines. The stock continues the artwork in a strong red with demon imagery around the thumbhole and grip, while the long barrel is finished in plain dark purple, which makes the painted section stand out.
Heavy scratching covers large areas of the stock and receiver, breaking the scene into fragments. Edges and raised parts are largely bare metal. In game the rifle reads as a mix of red, orange and grey rather than a clear illustration. Because the range stops early, some colour and figure outlines still survive.
Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.5
The float of Souvenir AWP | Oni Taiji ranges from 0 to 0.5; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.5 — 10% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Operation Hydra Collection with 17 skins in total.
It drops from Operation Hydra Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Gold, red and orange stickers blend with the receiver art, while dark purple or black ones tie into the barrel colour. Placements toward the barrel side keep the samurai scene visible; holographic or foil gold stickers echo the gold accents of the painting.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since copies near the cleaner end look noticeably better.
- Inspect the stock edges, the thumbhole area and the receiver corners, as these lose paint first.
- Look at whether the demon faces on the receiver are scratched, since they carry the identity of the design.
- Check applied stickers and name tags, and whether they suit the warm palette or cover the main artwork.
Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits
