Souvenir AWP | Oni Taiji (Field-Tested)

Skin overview

Oni Taiji is easy to spot by the contrast between its long purple barrel and the fiery orange and red artwork around the action and stock. In Field-Tested the main figures are still readable, but scuffs start to break up the edges of the stock and the corners of the receiver. It keeps the character of the design at a more accessible level.

Item type: sniper rifle. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The receiver is covered with the main scene: a samurai figure and Oni demon faces drawn in orange, gold and red with blue accents and dark outlines. The stock continues the artwork in a strong red with demon imagery around the thumbhole and grip, while the long barrel is finished in plain dark purple, which makes the painted section stand out.

Scuffs spread along the stock edges, the thumbhole and the lower corners of the receiver. Some fine lines in the artwork start to blur where the wear gathers. In game the colours still read clearly and the samurai scene is recognisable. The centre of the receiver and most of the barrel usually look tidy.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Gold, red and orange stickers blend with the receiver art, while dark purple or black ones tie into the barrel colour. Placements toward the barrel side keep the samurai scene visible; holographic or foil gold stickers echo the gold accents of the painting.

What to look at before you buy

• Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since copies near the cleaner end look noticeably better.
• Inspect the stock edges, the thumbhole area and the receiver corners, as these lose paint first.
• Look at whether the demon faces on the receiver are scratched, since they carry the identity of the design.
• Check applied stickers and name tags, and whether they suit the warm palette or cover the main artwork.

Who should buy Field-Tested

• Players who want the recognisable Oni Taiji colours for everyday matches.
• Buyers looking for a more accessible way into a Covert AWP.
• A practical grade that keeps the character of the design.
