Skin overview

AWP | PAW is a rifle with a crowded cartoon pattern of cats, dogs and a scarf-wearing creature on its body. Because the skin's float range stops well short of the heaviest wear, a Battle-Scarred copy keeps more of its artwork than many other skins in this grade, with damage concentrated on edges and the butt. It is the most affordable way to get the recognisable warm pattern.

Item type: sniper rifle. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The finish covers the receiver, handguard, grip, magazine area and stock with a dense collage of cartoon cats, dogs and a creature in a red scarf. The palette is dominated by orange, rust brown and red, with dark outlines and scattered green and teal highlights that break up the warm mass.

The edges of the stock, the butt, the cheek rest and the handguard underside are heavily worn, with scraped patches reaching into the pattern on the grip and around the magazine. Since the float range ends early, the damage is closer to the lighter side of this grade and large parts of the artwork survive. In game the rifle reads as a faded orange-brown pattern with rough edges. The central areas of the receiver still hold recognisable figures.

Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.5

The float of Souvenir AWP | PAW ranges from 0 to 0.5; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.5 — 10% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Horizon Collection with 17 skins in total.

The source is Horizon Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Warm stickers in orange, red and gold blend with the pattern, while teal or green accents echo the small cool highlights in the artwork. Animal-themed or cartoon-style stickers suit the theme, and the plain dark barrel area gives a calm background for a single contrasting sticker.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, as copies at the low end of a grade look noticeably cleaner on the stock edges.
  • Inspect the butt, cheek rest and underside of the handguard, since these parts lose paint first.
  • Look at applied stickers and their condition, as scraped stickers change the look of the busy body.
  • Check for a name tag if you care how the item is listed in your inventory.

Who should buy Battle-Scarred

  • Budget players who want the cheapest entry into this skin.
  • Buyers who value that this skin keeps more artwork than usual in this grade.
  • Conclusion: the entry point for the pattern, with worn edges as the trade-off.
