Skin overview

The skin is easy to spot by its gold body covered in fine ornament, a dark barrel and a blue scope with gold trim. Minimal Wear keeps that look almost intact: any marks sit on small edges and are hard to see without zooming in. In first person it reads nearly the same as the cleanest grade.

Item type: sniper rifle. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The receiver and stock are finished in gold with a dense engraved ornament that runs along the body and around the thumbhole. The barrel stays dark, contrasting with the gold muzzle brake and gold bipod legs.

Light marks may appear on the muzzle brake and the tips of the bipod legs. The receiver, scope and stock ornament remain clean. At normal distance the rifle is practically indistinguishable from Factory New, which makes this grade a sensible saving.

Which stickers suit it

Gold, holo and foil stickers in gold or blue tones fit the royal colour scheme best. Placements along the gold receiver blend in, while a single darker sticker on the barrel side adds contrast without hiding the ornament.

• Look at the float position within the wear range, because a low float keeps the muzzle brake and scope rings cleaner.
• Inspect the scope rings, bipod and receiver edges, as these parts lose gold first.
