Skin overview

The skin pairs a blue-violet zodiac print on the body with a plain dark barrel, and it is the colour of the stock that gives it away at a glance. Minimal Wear keeps that colour almost intact, with only small marks near edges that are hard to spot without inspecting. Visually it stays very close to the cleanest grade.

Item type: sniper rifle. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The hydrographic covers the receiver, the stock and the grip area in deep blue and violet, with darker swirling shapes, thin lighter blue lines and grey patches forming the zodiac motif. The long barrel, the muzzle, the scope and the bipod remain dark grey and black, which frames the coloured body.

Small specks may appear on the edges of the stock and around the trigger guard. The main surfaces of the receiver and stock remain fully printed. At normal distance in game it is practically indistinguishable from Factory New. The pattern details are still sharp.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir AWP | Sun in Leo is 0–0.5; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (16% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Gods and Monsters Collection with 14 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Stickers in blue, violet, silver or white blend with the zodiac print, while gold or yellow accents give a deliberate contrast with the cold tone. Placements on the printed stock and receiver work better than on the plain dark barrel.
