Skin overview

This AWP carries a dense gold filigree pattern that runs along the barrel, receiver and stock, framed by red details. In Field-Tested the gold starts to dull on edges and raised areas, giving the rifle a slightly aged, used look. The ornament is still clearly readable along the whole weapon.

Item type: sniper rifle. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

Other qualities of this skin: Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The barrel is dark with gold engraved bands near the muzzle and along its length, and the muzzle itself carries gold ring details. The receiver and stock are covered with dense gold filigree over a dark base, with red areas showing on the receiver, the magazine and the scope.

Scuffs become noticeable on the muzzle, scope edges, the thumbhole rim and the lower edge of the stock. The gold on these areas looks dull and slightly patchy, while the central filigree on the receiver remains readable. In game the rifle looks used but the ornament still comes through. The red on the magazine and scope starts to lose some depth.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Gold, holo-gold and deep red stickers match the filigree and the red accents best. Dark or black stickers placed on the receiver blend with the base without breaking the ornament. Bright neon colours tend to clash with the classic dark-and-gold look.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since a low float in a worn grade keeps much more of the gold filigree.
  • Inspect the muzzle, scope edges and thumbhole rim, as these lose gold first.
  • Look at the red areas on the magazine and scope for fading on worn copies.
  • Check applied stickers and any name tag, since they change how the ornate artwork reads.

Who should buy Field-Tested

  • Players who use the AWP daily and accept light edge wear.
  • Buyers looking for a low-float copy that still shows the full ornament.
  • A practical everyday version of the skin.
