Souvenir AWP | Worm God (Factory New)

Skin overview

AWP | Worm God is a patina finish that covers the rifle's body in olive-grey tones with a skull and twisting roots drawn across the stock and receiver. In Factory New the pale yellow-green highlights and the dark outlines of the roots stay crisp, so the skull motif on the stock is easy to read. The barrel and scope keep their plain dark look, which makes the decorated body stand out.

Item type: sniper rifle. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.

The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Factory New

The receiver and stock are finished in a grey-olive patina with pale yellow-green highlights and dark ornamental lines forming roots and a skull. The pattern is densest on the stock and around the grip, then thins out along the receiver toward the barrel.

The patina is even and the root lines are sharp across the stock and receiver. Edges of the stock and the grip area show no paint loss. In game the skull and the pale highlights are clearly visible on the stock at normal distance. The dark barrel and scope look clean and uniform.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Muted olive, gold, bone-white and black stickers fit the earthy palette and the grim skull theme. Placing them along the receiver keeps the stock artwork uncovered.

What to look at before you buy

• Check where the float sits within the chosen wear, since copies near the cleaner end hold the root lines noticeably better.
• Look at the stock edges and the area around the grip, as these lose paint first.
• Make sure the skull on the stock is clear enough for your taste on worn copies.
• Check applied stickers and the name tag, as they change the look of the receiver.

Who should buy Factory New

• Collectors who want the root lines and skull at their sharpest.
• Sticker crafters who need a clean base for a themed build.
• A choice for those who value full detail.
