Show allAllSkin overview
Worm God reads as a dark, earthy AWP: grey-olive metal, a dark barrel and a stock filled with pale roots around a skull. In Field-Tested the edges of the stock and receiver start to lose paint, and the finish takes on a more aged look. That aged character fits the grim theme of the artwork rather than working against it.
Item type: sniper rifle. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Field-Tested
The receiver and stock are finished in a grey-olive patina with pale yellow-green highlights and dark ornamental lines forming roots and a skull. The pattern is densest on the stock and around the grip, then thins out along the receiver toward the barrel.
Paint loss becomes visible along the stock edges, the cheek rest and around the grip. The patina looks more tarnished and the pale highlights lose some of their contrast. In game the skull motif is still readable, though the surface looks older. The flat side panels of the stock keep most of the artwork.
Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of Souvenir AWP | Worm God is 0–0.45; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (51% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Chroma 2 Collection with 15 skins in total.
It drops from Chroma 2 Case (on sale since Apr 15, 2015).
What it costs in each quality
By price this skin is 6th of 10 skins Restricted AWP in this quality (the first being the dearest).
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Muted olive, gold, bone-white and black stickers fit the earthy palette and the grim skull theme. Placing them along the receiver keeps the stock artwork uncovered.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the chosen wear, since copies near the cleaner end hold the root lines noticeably better.
- Look at the stock edges and the area around the grip, as these lose paint first.
- Make sure the skull on the stock is clear enough for your taste on worn copies.
- Check applied stickers and the name tag, as they change the look of the receiver.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Players who like the aged look that suits the dark theme.
- Those who want the skull motif for everyday matches.
- A practical pick for play.
