Skin overview
Calligraffiti keeps its dark steel base and ornate brown grip even in the roughest grade. In Battle-Scarred much of the fine silver script on the slide is worn away, and bare metal shows along the edges, serrations and muzzle. It gives the patterned Desert Eagle a heavily used, antique feel.
Item type: pistol. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred
The slide and barrel shroud are finished in dark blackened steel with faint swirls of silver calligraphic strokes across the surface. The rear slide serrations and the hammer area catch lighter metal highlights, while the frame and the accessory rail under the barrel stay plain dark grey.
Large areas of the slide are rubbed down, with bare metal along edges, serrations, muzzle and the top of the slide. Much of the fine silver calligraphy is lost, leaving only fragments of the pattern. The grip panel shows worn edges and a faded ornament. In game it reads as a scratched, heavily used Desert Eagle.
Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–1
The float of Souvenir Desert Eagle | Calligraffiti ranges from 0 to 1; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–1 — 55% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Gallery Collection with 17 skins in total.
It drops from Gallery Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Silver, gold or holo stickers in neutral tones match the engraved metal look. Placing them on the dark slide keeps the decorated grip visible, and monochrome or script-style designs fit the calligraphy theme.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the silver lines on the slide fade quickly as wear grows.
- Inspect the slide edges, rear serrations and muzzle, as these lose the dark finish first.
- Look at the grip panel to make sure the engraved ornament is still clear on worn copies.
- Check applied stickers and the name tag, as they change how the dark slide reads.
Who should buy Battle-Scarred
- Buyers who want the cheapest way into this skin.
- Players who like a heavily scratched, antique-looking sidearm.
- Conclusion: for those who prefer a rough look over fine detail.
