The skin pairs blackened steel with silver calligraphy and a bronze-tone engraved grip. Well-Worn copies show clear rubbing on the slide edges and muzzle, and the silver lines on the slide grow fainter. The result looks like a pistol that has been carried for a long time.

Wear spreads from the edges onto the flat sides of the slide, and the serrations and muzzle show clear bare-metal patches. The silver script fades noticeably, and the raised edges of the grip panel start to rub. In game the pistol looks visibly used, though the dark base still dominates. The centre of the grip ornament is still readable.
