Skin overview

Desert Eagle | Cobalt Disruption covers the pistol in a digital camouflage of navy, cobalt and pale blue squares laid over a metallic foil. In Factory New the foil keeps its full sheen, so the pixel blocks catch the light and the blue reads deep and saturated across the whole gun. The weathered spots near the muzzle and the hammer are part of the artwork, so even a perfect copy has some character.

Item type: pistol. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear and Field-Tested. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Factory New

The slide, frame and grip are wrapped in one continuous digital camouflage of navy, cobalt and light blue squares with a metallic anodized sheen. Along the slide the pixels run in horizontal bands, and the engraved lettering stays visible through the pattern.

The anodized foil is intact on every part of the pistol, from the muzzle to the base of the grip. The pixel blocks have crisp borders and the metallic shine is even along the slide. In game the gun reads as a bright, uniformly blue pistol, with the painted rust spots as the only rough-looking detail.

Factory New wear: float 0–0.07

The float of Souvenir Desert Eagle | Cobalt Disruption ranges from 0 to 0.2; the Factory New quality covers 0–0.07 — 35% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Silver, holo and blue-toned stickers blend with the cobalt camo, while white or gold accents stand out against it without clashing. Placements on the flat side of the slide work best, as the grip pattern is already busy.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since a low float in Field-Tested looks much closer to Minimal Wear.
  • Look at the muzzle and the top edges of the slide, because these lose the finish first.
  • Remember that the teal rust spots are part of the artwork and not damage.
  • Check applied stickers and the name tag, as they change how the busy pattern reads.

Who should buy Factory New

  • Collectors who want the full metallic shine and crisp pixel borders.
  • Sticker crafters who need a clean base for expensive applications.
  • Pick this wear if you want the finish without a single scuff.
