Skin overview

Kumicho Dragon combines a dark etched slide with purple grip panels, and in Battle-Scarred that contrast is what survives longest. The slide is heavily worn with large lighter areas and only the bolder dragon lines still clearly visible, while the grip colour turns duller. It is the cheapest way to carry the skin, with a rough, weathered character of its own.

Item type: pistol. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The slide and frame are finished in a dark grey metal with a slight teal tint, and the whole slide is covered in pale silver line engraving of a dragon. Its head sits towards the front of the slide among curling waves and clouds, while the coiled body runs back towards the rear sight and over the hammer area.

Large areas of the slide are worn to a light, uneven surface, and only fragments of the dragon remain readable. The edges, muzzle and rear of the frame are the most worn parts. The purple grip is the best-preserved element, though duller and rubbed at its edges. In game the skin reads mainly through its colour contrast rather than the engraving.

Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.76

The whole float range of Souvenir Desert Eagle | Kumicho Dragon is 0–0.76; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.76 segment (41% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir Desert Eagle | Kumicho Dragon belongs to The Wildfire Collection, which holds 16 skins.

It drops from Operation Wildfire Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Silver, white, black and purple stickers match the engraving and grip without breaking the scheme. Placed towards the rear of the slide, they leave the dragon's head at the front visible.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the engraving contrast changes noticeably inside Field-Tested and Well-Worn.
  • Look at the muzzle end and top edges of the slide, where the patina wears first.
  • On worn copies, check how much of the dragon's head on the slide is still readable.
  • Note any stickers or name tag already applied and whether they cover the engraving you want to see.

Who should buy Battle-Scarred

  • Budget entry for players who want this design at the lowest cost.
  • Those who like a rough, weathered finish with a purple grip that still stands out.
  • The entry grade for play rather than display.
