Skin overview

Kumicho Dragon is recognisable by its engraved dragon winding from the muzzle end of the slide towards the hammer and by the purple grip with its silver crest. In Field-Tested the dark coating starts to lighten at the edges and the etched lines lose some contrast, which gives the pistol a used, handled look. The dragon remains clearly readable, so the main motif still carries the skin.

Item type: pistol. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The slide and frame are finished in a dark grey metal with a slight teal tint, and the whole slide is covered in pale silver line engraving of a dragon. Its head sits towards the front of the slide among curling waves and clouds, while the coiled body runs back towards the rear sight and over the hammer area.

The patina noticeably lightens along the slide edges, the muzzle and the rear of the frame. The thinner engraved lines start to soften, while the dragon's head and main body stay clear. The purple grip remains bright, with only slight dulling at its edges. In game the skin still reads as the dragon design without much loss.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The float of Souvenir Desert Eagle | Kumicho Dragon ranges from 0 to 0.76; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 30% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Silver, white, black and purple stickers match the engraving and grip without breaking the scheme. Placed towards the rear of the slide, they leave the dragon's head at the front visible.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the engraving contrast changes noticeably inside Field-Tested and Well-Worn.
  • Look at the muzzle end and top edges of the slide, where the patina wears first.
  • On worn copies, check how much of the dragon's head on the slide is still readable.
  • Note any stickers or name tag already applied and whether they cover the engraving you want to see.

Who should buy Field-Tested

  • Players who use the Desert Eagle often and want the dragon clearly visible.
  • Buyers who like a slightly handled look on an engraved finish.
  • A practical everyday choice.
