Skin overview
Battle-Scarred is the most weathered take on Midnight Storm, a Desert Eagle finish built on a stormy sea over a metallic blue base. Large areas of bare metal break up the waves, especially along the slide and around the grip. The teal tint survives in patches, giving the pistol a heavily used, salt-worn appearance.
Item type: pistol. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.
Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.
How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred
The slide is covered in dark grey and black wave patterns with cyan highlights on the crests, and swirling cloud-like shapes run along its sides. The barrel tip and the front of the slide pick up the brightest teal tones from the metallic base.
Large areas of the slide, muzzle and grip edges are worn down to silver metal. The wave pattern survives in broken patches, mostly on the lower slide and the frame. In game the pistol looks heavily battered, with the teal tint showing through in spots. Little of the original detail remains clean apart from recessed parts.
Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.75
The float of Souvenir Desert Eagle | Midnight Storm ranges from 0 to 0.75; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.75 — 40% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
Souvenir Desert Eagle | Midnight Storm belongs to The Rising Sun Collection, which holds 16 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Price by quality
Among 5 skins of the Desert Eagle in the Industrial Grade grade and this quality, this skin is the dearest.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Stickers in teal, cyan, silver or dark blue blend with the stormy-sea palette. Holographic or foil stickers with cold tones work well on the dark slide, while a single bright accent near the front can stand out against the waves.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the clean end of a grade show fewer marks on the slide.
- Look at the top edge of the slide and the muzzle first, because these parts lose paint before anything else.
- Inspect the edges of the grip and the hammer on mid and lower grades to see how much bare metal shows.
- Note any applied stickers or name tag and decide whether they fit your plans for the pistol.
Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits
- Players looking for the cheapest entry to this Desert Eagle finish.
- Fans of heavily weathered skins with bare metal showing through.
- Conclusion: a budget option for those who value a battered look over clean detail.
