Skin overview

The stormy-sea hydrographic on this Desert Eagle is dark by design, so wear blends into it more than on bright finishes. At Well-Worn, scuffs spread from the edges onto the flat sides of the slide and grip, and some fine wave detail is lost. It suits players who want the teal-and-charcoal palette with a rough, battered look.

Item type: pistol. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The slide is covered in dark grey and black wave patterns with cyan highlights on the crests, and swirling cloud-like shapes run along its sides. The barrel tip and the front of the slide pick up the brightest teal tones from the metallic base.

Scratches spread from the edges onto the sides of the slide and across the grip, and fine wave details fade. The muzzle and the top of the slide show clear patches of bare metal. In game the pistol looks noticeably used, though the teal and charcoal palette remains recognisable. Only the recessed areas of the frame keep their original sharpness.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

The whole float range of Souvenir Desert Eagle | Midnight Storm is 0–0.75; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (9% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir Desert Eagle | Midnight Storm belongs to The Rising Sun Collection, which holds 16 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

What it costs in each quality

Among 5 skins of the Desert Eagle in the Industrial Grade grade and this quality, this skin is the dearest.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in teal, cyan, silver or dark blue blend with the stormy-sea palette. Holographic or foil stickers with cold tones work well on the dark slide, while a single bright accent near the front can stand out against the waves.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the clean end of a grade show fewer marks on the slide.
  • Look at the top edge of the slide and the muzzle first, because these parts lose paint before anything else.
  • Inspect the edges of the grip and the hammer on mid and lower grades to see how much bare metal shows.
  • Note any applied stickers or name tag and decide whether they fit your plans for the pistol.

Who the Well-Worn quality suits

  • Budget buyers who want the recognisable teal-and-charcoal colours.
  • Players who prefer a used, rugged look on their pistol.
  • Conclusion: an affordable way to get the skin with visible character.
