Show allAllSkin overview
Well-Worn shows the Pilot with clear marks of handling. The slide edges and the brass details are visibly rubbed, and the metal has a duller, patchier tone. The wings motif and the brass-on-steel layout are still recognisable at a glance.
Item type: pistol. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.
How the skin looks in Well-Worn
The slide is finished in light grey steel, with a brass inlay of pilot's wings around a star in a circle at the front and brass lines running back along its upper part. The frame and trigger guard stay in matching silver-grey, while the hammer, slide stop and trigger are picked out in brass.
The slide edges are clearly rubbed and the steel has a patchy, darker look. The brass inlay is noticeably worn, especially on the wings and the lines along the slide. In game the gold accents look matte rather than shiny. The grips and the trigger guard area hold up better than the slide.
Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45
The whole float range of Souvenir Desert Eagle | Pilot is 0–1; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (7% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir Desert Eagle | Pilot belongs to The Baggage Collection, which holds 15 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Gold, brass and holographic gold stickers echo the inlay, while brown, olive or black-and-white designs fit the military aviation theme. Placements along the slide behind the wings keep the star emblem visible.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since a low float keeps the brass wings noticeably brighter.
- Look at the front corners and upper edges of the slide, as they lose their finish first.
- Inspect the brass inlay on the wings and lines for scratches or dulling.
- Check whether the stickers or Souvenir markings on a given copy match the grey and brass scheme.
Who should buy Well-Worn
- Players who prefer a matte, weathered metal look.
- Buyers looking for a cheaper version that still shows the wings clearly.
- A good fit for those who value character over polish.
