Skin overview
Starcade combines a glittering blue slide with a gradient grip and neon stripes, a look that stays bold even under heavy damage. The float range of this skin stops short of the maximum, so Battle-Scarred copies are heavily scratched on the edges and raised parts but keep the colour scheme readable. It is the most worn and the most affordable way to get this design.
Item type: pistol. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.
Appearance in Battle-Scarred
The slide and barrel are painted deep blue-violet with a dense metallic flake that sparkles across the whole surface. Toward the rear of the slide the base is crossed by diagonal bands of teal, green and red, with a red stripe near the hammer and a small red marking at the front.
Heavy scratching runs over the slide, barrel, frame edges and grip, with wide areas of bare metal on the raised parts. The magazine base and muzzle are worn the most. Because the skin's range ends before the maximum, the colour scheme does not disappear and still reads in game as blue with neon stripes. Only the deeper flat areas keep some clean glitter.
Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.75
The float of Souvenir Desert Eagle | Starcade ranges from 0 to 0.75; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.75 — 40% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Graphic Design Collection with 16 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Price by quality
Among 4 skins of the Desert Eagle in the Classified grade and this quality, this skin ranks 3rd by price, counting from the dearest.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Holo and foil stickers in cyan, purple or red pick up the metallic flake and the stripe colours. Placements on the blue section of the slide stand out best, while stickers near the teal bands blend into the design.
What to look at before you buy
- Look at the float position within the grade, since a lower value keeps the slide edges and muzzle cleaner.
- Inspect the muzzle, top of the slide, grip corners and magazine base, as these lose paint first.
- Check applied stickers and any name tag, and on Souvenir copies review the pre-applied stickers.
- Compare screenshots in the inspect view, because the metallic flake can hide or exaggerate small scratches depending on lighting.
Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits
- Budget entry players who want the design with the lowest grade.
- Fans of a heavily worn look where the colours still show through.
- The cheapest way to carry this skin.
