Skin overview

Starcade is recognised by its sparkling violet base and the bright teal, green and red stripes that cut across the slide and grip. In Field-Tested the colour bands are still clearly readable, while the muzzle, slide edges and grip corners begin to show scuffs through the flake. It is the grade where the design stays recognisable and the wear starts to add a used character.

Item type: pistol. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The slide and barrel are painted deep blue-violet with a dense metallic flake that sparkles across the whole surface. Toward the rear of the slide the base is crossed by diagonal bands of teal, green and red, with a red stripe near the hammer and a small red marking at the front.

Scuffs spread along the muzzle, the top edge of the slide and the rear serrations, breaking the glitter in thin lines. The grip corners and magazine base start to lose paint. In game the colour bands still read clearly, and the wear shows mainly as lighter edges. The flat sides of the slide and the centre of the grip stay mostly whole.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Graphic Design Collection with 16 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Holo and foil stickers in cyan, purple or red pick up the metallic flake and the stripe colours. Placements on the blue section of the slide stand out best, while stickers near the teal bands blend into the design.

What to look at before you buy

• Look at the float position within the grade, since a lower value keeps the slide edges and muzzle cleaner.
• Inspect the muzzle, top of the slide, grip corners and magazine base, as these lose paint first.
• Check applied stickers and any name tag, and on Souvenir copies review the pre-applied stickers.
• Compare screenshots in the inspect view, because the metallic flake can hide or exaggerate small scratches depending on lighting.
