Skin overview
Sunset Storm 壱 is defined by its monochrome palette: a stormy sea drawn in shades of red over a metallic base. In Field-Tested the edges of the slide and the muzzle show visible wear, while the wave pattern on the flat sides still holds together. From the usual first-person view the pistol reads as a solid red Desert Eagle with a busy texture.
Item type: pistol. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The slide carries a metallic red base with a hydrographic of stylised sea waves printed in a darker red, so the pattern shows through texture rather than contrast. Grey-teal accents sit on the front of the slide, around the muzzle, on the rear sight area and the hammer, framing the red.
Wear becomes visible along the slide edges, the muzzle and the corners of the grip, where bare metal starts to show. The red coat on the flat sides keeps most of its depth, with scattered small scratches. In game the pistol still reads as a strong red with the wave texture intact. The central sides of the slide and the grip panels stay largely clean.
Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of Souvenir Desert Eagle | Sunset Storm 壱 is 0–0.75; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (31% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Rising Sun Collection with 16 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Red, gold and dark holographic stickers continue the warm palette of the finish. Teal or grey stickers echo the accents on the muzzle and hammer and give a quiet contrast. Placements on the slide sides keep the busy wave pattern of the grip visible.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the chosen wear, since the slide edges and muzzle show the difference first.
- Look at the corners of the grip, where the large wave print loses paint early.
- Make sure existing stickers or a name tag fit the red palette you want.
- Compare inspect screenshots in good light, because red-on-red wear is easier to miss than on contrasting skins.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Players who want the full red palette in game without paying for clean edges.
- Buyers who prefer a slightly used look on a Desert Eagle.
- A practical grade for everyday play.
