Skin overview
The skin pairs a metallic red coat with a hydrographic of rolling waves and dark grey-teal accents. In Well-Worn the red loses some of its depth, and scratches spread from the edges onto the slide and grip. The colour scheme remains recognisable, so the gun still reads as Sunset Storm 壱 in a match.
Item type: pistol. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.
How the skin looks in Well-Worn
The slide carries a metallic red base with a hydrographic of stylised sea waves printed in a darker red, so the pattern shows through texture rather than contrast. Grey-teal accents sit on the front of the slide, around the muzzle, on the rear sight area and the hammer, framing the red.
Scratches spread from the edges onto the top and sides of the slide, and the grip shows noticeable paint loss. The red becomes duller and the finer lines of the waves break up in places. At normal distance the gun reads as red with a scuffed, uneven surface. The lower frame and the middle of the grip panels hold the most colour.
Well-Worn quality — float range 0.38–0.45
The float of Souvenir Desert Eagle | Sunset Storm 壱 ranges from 0 to 0.75; the Well-Worn quality covers 0.38–0.45 — 9% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Rising Sun Collection with 16 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Red, gold and dark holographic stickers continue the warm palette of the finish. Teal or grey stickers echo the accents on the muzzle and hammer and give a quiet contrast. Placements on the slide sides keep the busy wave pattern of the grip visible.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the chosen wear, since the slide edges and muzzle show the difference first.
- Look at the corners of the grip, where the large wave print loses paint early.
- Make sure existing stickers or a name tag fit the red palette you want.
- Compare inspect screenshots in good light, because red-on-red wear is easier to miss than on contrasting skins.
Who the Well-Worn quality suits
- Budget buyers who still want the recognisable red colour scheme.
- Players who like a scuffed, used finish on their pistol.
- A good value pick if visible wear does not bother you.
