Battle-Scarred Black Limba pushes the aged theme to its end: the slides turn patchy and silvery, with much of the dark tone rubbed away. The grips stay recognisable as wood, though scratches and faded areas cover their surfaces. It is the most affordable way to get this design, and the heavy wear does not clash with the vintage idea of the finish.
Item type: pistol. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Battle-Scarred
Both slides and frames are finished in a grey gunmetal tone with darker patina and lighter mottled spots, giving the steel an aged, handled look. The barrels and trigger guards stay in the same metallic grey, with the serrations and small details picked out by the light.
Battle-Scarred leaves the slides largely silvery and blotchy, with only traces of the darker patina in recessed areas. The wooden grips are covered with scratches and faded spots, though their brown colour still sets them apart from the metal. Edges, muzzles and slide tops show the heaviest wear. In game the pair looks rough, which fits the vintage idea of the finish.
Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.8
The float of Souvenir Dual Berettas | Black Limba ranges from 0.06 to 0.8; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.8 — 47% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Bravo Collection with 15 skins in total.
The source is Operation Bravo Case (on sale since Sep 20, 2013).
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Muted stickers in brown, gold, black or dark grey match the steel and wood palette best. Small paper or gold stickers placed on the slides keep the classic look intact, while bright colours tend to break the restrained style.
What to check before buying
- Look at the float within the wear range, since a low-float Field-Tested copy can look close to Minimal Wear on this finish.
- Check the slide tops and muzzle edges in the inspect view, as they lose the dark tone first.
- Look at the outer edges of the wooden grips, because faded grain there is the clearest sign of heavier wear.
- Check applied stickers and the name tag, and decide whether StatTrak™ or a Souvenir version matters to you.
Who should buy Battle-Scarred
- Budget entry for anyone who simply wants this pair in the loadout.
- Players who enjoy heavily worn, silvery metal on a vintage-style finish.
- The cheapest grade, and the wear suits the theme.
