This Custom Paint Job keeps its classic look: aged-looking gunmetal slides with lighter mottling and dark-grained wooden grips. In Minimal Wear any marks are hard to tell apart from the built-in patina, so the pistols read almost the same as a Factory New pair. It is a practical choice for buyers who want the clean look without paying for the narrowest grade.
Item type: pistol. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Minimal Wear
Both slides and frames are finished in a grey gunmetal tone with darker patina and lighter mottled spots, giving the steel an aged, handled look. The barrels and trigger guards stay in the same metallic grey, with the serrations and small details picked out by the light.
Minimal Wear can add tiny scuffs on the slide tops and muzzle edges. Because the finish already imitates aged metal, these marks are very hard to spot. The grips remain clean and the grain fully readable. At normal distance the pistols are practically identical to Factory New.
Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15
The whole float range of Souvenir Dual Berettas | Black Limba is 0.06–0.8; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (11% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Bravo Collection with 15 skins in total.
It drops from Operation Bravo Case (on sale since Sep 20, 2013).
What it costs in each quality
Among 3 skins of the Dual Berettas in the Mil-Spec Grade grade and this quality, this skin is the dearest.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Muted stickers in brown, gold, black or dark grey match the steel and wood palette best. Small paper or gold stickers placed on the slides keep the classic look intact, while bright colours tend to break the restrained style.
What to check before buying
- Look at the float within the wear range, since a low-float Field-Tested copy can look close to Minimal Wear on this finish.
- Check the slide tops and muzzle edges in the inspect view, as they lose the dark tone first.
- Look at the outer edges of the wooden grips, because faded grain there is the clearest sign of heavier wear.
- Check applied stickers and the name tag, and decide whether StatTrak™ or a Souvenir version matters to you.
Who should buy Minimal Wear
- Players who want a near-clean look without paying for the top grade.
- Sticker crafters looking for a sensible base with barely visible wear.
- The most balanced option between look and cost.
