Skin overview

Briar reads as a dense green floral wrap across both Berettas, with red accents near the triggers and hammers that catch the eye first. At Minimal Wear the busy vine pattern hides small marks well, so the pistols look practically clean in hand. This grade gives nearly the same look as Factory New and makes sense when the difference is not worth paying for.

Item type: pistol. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

Both slides and frames are covered in a muted green base with a network of thin dark green vines curling over the whole surface. Small flowers in red, pink and blue are scattered across the slides and frames, and larger red accents sit around the trigger area and the hammers.

At Minimal Wear the first light scuffs can appear on the sharpest slide edges and around the muzzles. The marks are small and blend into the dark vine lines, so they are hard to spot without close inspection. The flat sides of the slides, the frames and the grips stay fully printed. In game the pistols look practically the same as Factory New.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir Dual Berettas | Briar is 0–0.22; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (36% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Red, pink or deep green stickers pick up the flower accents and the base colour of Briar. Small stickers placed on the flat sides of the slides keep the vine pattern visible, while bright blue or gold can echo the small blue flowers without clashing.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the slide edges and muzzles are the first places to lose the print.
  • Look at the top of the slides in the inspect view, because that is where grey metal shows first in first-person.
  • For Souvenir copies, check which stickers are already applied and whether they suit the green floral print.
  • If a name tag is present, make sure you are fine with it before buying.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

  • Players who want a clean-looking pair of Berettas without paying for Factory New.
  • Sticker crafters who are fine with tiny edge marks hidden by the busy pattern.
  • Conclusion: nearly the same look for less.
