Skin overview

Dual Berettas | Tread is recognised by its gold etched slides and dark, deeply textured grips. Well-Worn copies show the gold broken up across the slides, with bare metal patches that give the pistols a used, older look. The dark frames and grips hide wear well, so the overall shape of the design stays readable.

Item type: pistol. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

The same quality also exists as the Souvenir version.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The slides of both pistols are painted gold and covered with a fine etched wave pattern that fills the flat panels and gives them a woven, textured look. The frames, trigger guards and barrels stay in dark gunmetal grey, framing the gold sections.

Bare metal spreads from the edges into the gold panels, breaking up the etched pattern in places. The grip ribs lose much of their finish on the raised parts, and the frames show visible scratches. In game the slides read as a mix of gold and grey, though the overall design is still recognisable.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

The float of StatTrak™ Dual Berettas | Tread ranges from 0 to 1; the Well-Worn quality covers 0.38–0.45 — 7% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Operation Riptide Collection with 17 skins in total.

The source is Operation Riptide Case.

Which stickers suit it

Gold, bronze and holo stickers in warm tones match the etched slides, while black or dark grey stickers blend into the frames for a restrained look. Placing stickers on the dark frames rather than over the gold panels keeps the etching visible.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since gold loss on the slides grows noticeably toward the dirtier end.
  • Inspect the slide edges, muzzle ends and rear serrations, as these are the first areas where the gold thins.
  • Look at the raised ribs of the grips, which show bare metal on more worn copies.
  • Note any applied stickers or name tag, since they change the look of the dark frames and gold slides.

Who the Well-Worn quality suits

  • Budget buyers who still want visible gold on the slides.
  • Players who prefer an aged, used look on their pistols.
  • Conclusion: an affordable option with character.
