Skin overview

Hideout pairs a cold blue-grey base with warm splashes of rust red and ochre, giving the pistols a camouflaged, sun-faded look. At Minimal Wear the difference from a pristine copy is limited to faint marks on the sharpest edges, which the mottled pattern hides well. For most buyers this grade gives the same in-game picture as the cleanest one.

Item type: pistol. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

Both Berettas are covered in a dark slate blue-grey base with irregular blotches of rust red, orange, yellow and tan scattered across the slides, frames and grips. The slides carry the darkest tones with thin streaks of warm colour along the top and serrations, while the frames and trigger guards mix grey with red splashes.

Tiny scratches may appear on the top edges of the slides and around the muzzles. The rest of the finish, including grips and frames, stays clean and fully coloured. In game the marks are practically invisible because the mottled pattern absorbs them. The overall look matches Factory New at a glance.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir Dual Berettas | Hideout is 0–0.699; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (11% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Kilowatt Collection with 17 skins in total.

It drops from Kilowatt Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in red, orange, gold or muted dark tones blend well with the slate and rust palette. Placements on the slides work best, where the base is darkest and warm accents stand out. Bright blue or neon stickers tend to clash with the weathered look.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the grade, since low-float copies of worn grades keep noticeably more colour on the slides.
  • Inspect the slide tops and muzzles, as these lose paint first and set the overall impression.
  • Look at the grip panels, which carry the brightest part of the artwork and should stay colourful.
  • Review any applied stickers or name tag to make sure they suit the warm and dark palette.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

  • Players who want a near-pristine look while saving compared with Factory New.
  • Sticker crafters, since the faint edge marks rarely interfere with placements.
  • A practical way to get the clean appearance without paying for perfection.
