Skin overview

Polished Malachite is a green-and-silver finish built around the banded look of cut stone on both pistols. In Field-Tested the slides and edges show visible scuffs and the gloss is less even, while the malachite rings on the grips still read clearly. It is a practical middle ground for players who want the colour without chasing a clean copy.

Item type: pistol. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Well-Worn.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

Both grips are covered in a glossy malachite pattern of swirling concentric bands in light and dark green, matching the ceramic topcoat mentioned in the item description. The frames carry the same green stone texture, while the slides are dark metal with green malachite panels along the top.

Scratches become visible along the slides, the muzzles and the front edges of the frames. The grips start to show light wear on their corners, and the gloss looks patchy in places. In game the green colour and the stone banding still read well. The central parts of the grips and the trigger guards remain mostly clean.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir Dual Berettas | Polished Malachite is 0–0.8; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (29% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Green, silver, holo and gold stickers echo the malachite and the polished trigger guards. Placements on the slides sit on the darker metal and stand out cleanly without hiding the stone pattern on the grips.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the chosen wear, since a low float in a grade keeps more of the malachite banding.
  • Inspect the slide tops and muzzles first, as these are the parts that lose paint earliest.
  • Look at the grip corners to see whether the stone pattern is still intact where it matters most visually.
  • Note any applied stickers or name tag and decide whether they fit the green finish.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

  • Players who care about the green colour in matches more than about edge scratches.
  • Buyers building a themed green loadout on a moderate budget.
  • Conclusion: a balanced choice between appearance and cost.
