Skin overview

Urban Shock is a custom paint job built on cool tones: electric blue slides over a grey-and-white city camo. In Field-Tested the blue starts to show scuffs on the slide tops and edges, which suits the urban theme rather than spoiling it. The overall two-tone silhouette stays clear in game.

Item type: pistol. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

Both slides are painted a saturated cyan-blue, with blue rear serrations and patches of grey camo showing through on the top surfaces. The frames, trigger guards and grip panels carry an urban camo of grey, white and charcoal blocks, while the barrel tips and small controls stay dark.

Scuffs spread along the slide tops and edges, with metal showing through the blue in patches. The muzzle ends and serrations show clearer wear. Frames and grips gain light marks on raised edges but the camo pattern stays readable. At normal distance the blue still dominates the look.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir Dual Berettas | Urban Shock is 0–0.47; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (49% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir Dual Berettas | Urban Shock belongs to The Chroma Collection, which holds 14 skins.

The source is Chroma Case (on sale since Jan 8, 2015).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

White, silver and blue stickers blend with the cool palette, while a single black or dark grey sticker on the frame keeps the camo calm. Holo or foil stickers in blue tones match the slides well.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the slide edges and tops change most between grades.
  • Inspect the slide tops and muzzle area in close view, as these lose the blue first.
  • Look at any applied stickers and how they sit against the blue slides and camo frames.
  • Decide whether you want StatTrak™ or Souvenir, as both versions exist for this skin.

Who should buy Field-Tested

  • Players who like light scuffs that fit the urban theme.
  • Buyers who want the full colour scheme at a moderate condition.
  • A practical everyday pick for play.
