Skin overview

Commemoration is a gold, engraved finish for the FAMAS, and its float range stops early, so even the most worn grade avoids the heaviest damage. Battle-Scarred copies show the most rubbing on edges and raised parts, yet the gold still covers the body. It is the cheapest way to get the anniversary look.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The receiver, carry handle and stock are finished in aged gold with fine engraved lines and darker patina in the recesses. The barrel stays black, while the muzzle device, bipod parts and small fittings are gold to match the body.

Edges and raised parts carry the heaviest rubbing of all grades, from the carry handle and muzzle to the magazine and stock corners. The engraving is faded in many places, but the capped float range keeps the gold covering the body. In game the rifle reads as a worn, darkened gold piece rather than a stripped one. The flat centers of the side panels remain the cleanest areas.

Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.5

The float of Souvenir FAMAS | Commemoration ranges from 0 to 0.5; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.5 — 10% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Gold, black and brown stickers blend with the finish and keep the anniversary theme consistent. Holo or foil gold stickers on the side of the receiver add accent without fighting the engraving.

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the top of the carry handle and the magazine edges show the difference first.
• Look at the muzzle and receiver edges on the inspect screen to see how much darker metal shows through the gold.
• Note any applied stickers or name tag, as they change how the gold panels read.
