Skin overview

The anniversary FAMAS stays recognisable by its gold body and brown wooden grip even after heavy use. Well-Worn copies have clear scuffing on the handle, muzzle and magazine edges, and the gold looks patchier overall. It reads as a well-used ceremonial rifle rather than a polished one.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Well-Worn

The receiver, carry handle and stock are finished in aged gold with fine engraved lines and darker patina in the recesses. The barrel stays black, while the muzzle device, bipod parts and small fittings are gold to match the body.

The carry handle, muzzle and magazine are clearly scuffed, and wear spreads along the edges of the receiver and stock. Parts of the engraving fade into patchy gold. In game the rifle looks darker and less even than in cleaner grades. The flat side panels still keep most of their gold.

Well-Worn quality — float range 0.38–0.45

The whole float range of Souvenir FAMAS | Commemoration is 0–0.5; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (14% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Gold, black and brown stickers blend with the finish and keep the anniversary theme consistent. Holo or foil gold stickers on the side of the receiver add accent without fighting the engraving.

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the top of the carry handle and the magazine edges show the difference first.
• Look at the muzzle and receiver edges on the inspect screen to see how much darker metal shows through the gold.
• Note any applied stickers or name tag, as they change how the gold panels read.
• Decide whether you want a StatTrak™ copy, since the skin exists in that version too.
