Show allAllSkin overview
Battle-Scarred turns the finish into worn-out hardware: large areas of paint are rubbed through to bare metal on the carry handle, muzzle end and magazine. The red striped plate and the yellow marks survive only in parts. The industrial theme is carried mostly by the overall grey-brown tone.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Battle-Scarred
The receiver and carry handle are painted in a blue-grey steel tone with darker seams and small printed rust spots, which gives the rifle an aged industrial look. Behind the grip the body carries a red plate with vertical stripes, set above a brown panel that resembles worn wood or rusty metal.
Much of the paint is gone from the carry handle, the magazine and the stock, leaving wide areas of bare metal. The red striped plate survives only in parts, and the hazard stripes are reduced to fragments. The receiver sides around the trigger area keep the most colour. At normal distance the rifle reads as grey-brown worn hardware with faint red and yellow traces.
Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–1
The whole float range of Souvenir FAMAS | Decommissioned is 0–1; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–1 segment (55% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir FAMAS | Decommissioned belongs to The CS20 Collection, which holds 17 skins.
The source is CS20 Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Yellow, black, red and muted grey stickers match the hazard-marking and industrial palette of the finish. Warning-style or reactor-themed designs placed near the red rear plate or on the receiver side support the de_nuke idea. Bright neon colours tend to clash with the aged steel tone.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since a low float keeps the carry handle and magazine edges noticeably cleaner.
- On inspection, separate the printed rust and grime, which every copy has, from real paint loss on the edges.
- Look at the hazard stripes on the magazine and the red rear plate, as these accents show wear most clearly.
- For Souvenir and StatTrak™ copies, check the stickers, the counter and any name tag before buying.
Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits
- Budget players looking for an entry into the de_nuke style.
- Fans of worn hardware who want the rifle to look truly out of service.
- Conclusion: the grade for those who value the scrapped look over colour.
