Skin overview

This FAMAS carries a weathered power-plant theme with cold grey metal, a red corrugated panel and a hazard-striped magazine. Minimal Wear adds only faint marks on a few edges, and they blend into the deliberately aged finish. In a match it is hard to tell apart from a Factory New copy.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The receiver and carry handle are painted in a blue-grey steel tone with darker seams and small printed rust spots, which gives the rifle an aged industrial look. Behind the grip the body carries a red plate with vertical stripes, set above a brown panel that resembles worn wood or rusty metal.

Tiny scratches may appear on the top edge of the carry handle and along the bottom edge of the magazine. They are hard to separate from the printed weathering and are not visible in game. The red panel, the stock sections and the hazard stripes stay intact. Up close the copy looks almost identical to Factory New.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir FAMAS | Decommissioned is 0–1; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (8% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The CS20 Collection with 17 skins in total.

It drops from CS20 Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Yellow, black, red and muted grey stickers match the hazard-marking and industrial palette of the finish. Warning-style or reactor-themed designs placed near the red rear plate or on the receiver side support the de_nuke idea. Bright neon colours tend to clash with the aged steel tone.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since a low float keeps the carry handle and magazine edges noticeably cleaner.
  • On inspection, separate the printed rust and grime, which every copy has, from real paint loss on the edges.
  • Look at the hazard stripes on the magazine and the red rear plate, as these accents show wear most clearly.
  • For Souvenir and StatTrak™ copies, check the stickers, the counter and any name tag before buying.

Who should buy Minimal Wear

  • Players who want a near-perfect look without aiming for the cleanest grade.
  • Sticker crafters who accept tiny edge marks hidden by the printed weathering.
  • Conclusion: practically the same view in game, with a more relaxed choice of float.
