Show allAllSkin overview
In Field-Tested the Djinn finish starts to look like handled metal rather than a fresh display piece. The dark base and the swirling engraving remain the main features, while the edges show visible rubbing. For a patina-style skin this aged look fits the theme of an old engraved weapon.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.
Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The whole FAMAS is covered in a dark gunmetal patina, close to black, with a muted olive-gold engraved ornament of flowing, flame-like lines. The ornament wraps the long carry handle, runs along the receiver and spreads densely over the stock, where it forms the most detailed area of the pattern.
Rubbing becomes visible along the edges of the carry handle, the raised contours of the stock and the magazine edges. The patina looks less uniform and slightly faded on exposed parts. In game the rifle still reads as dark and engraved, with a more used surface. The flat sides of the receiver and the recessed engraving stay in good shape.
Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of Souvenir FAMAS | Djinn is 0–1; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (23% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Chroma 2 Collection with 15 skins in total.
It drops from Chroma 2 Case (on sale since Apr 15, 2015).
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Gold, holo-gold and dark stickers match the muted gold engraving and the near-black base. Placements along the receiver side keep the carry handle and stock ornament visible.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end of a grade show less rubbing on the carry handle and stock.
- Look at the stock in inspect, as it carries the densest part of the engraving and shows wear clearly.
- Check the edges of the carry handle and magazine, which lose their finish first.
- Look at any applied stickers and name tag to make sure they suit the dark engraved style.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Players who like the aged, handled look that suits a patina finish.
- Buyers who want the recognisable design in game at a moderate cost.
- Conclusion: a practical everyday version of the Djinn.
