Show allAllSkin overview
The skin's float range stops lower than usual, so even the most worn copies of Mecha Industries keep much of their light armour and red lines. Battle-Scarred here reads as a mech that has seen use rather than a ruined finish, and it is the most affordable way to get the design.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Battle-Scarred
The receiver and the long carry handle are covered in off-white plates with thin red stripes running along the handle and the side of the body. Dark grey inserts sit under the handle and along the lower receiver, with ribbed details and panel lines that suggest machine parts.
Wear is heaviest on the carry handle, barrel, magazine and stock edges, with grey metal showing through the paint there. Because the range ends early, the damage stays moderate compared with fully worn skins of other finishes. In game the design is still readable, though the white looks duller. The central body panels and the dark inserts remain largely intact.
Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.5
The float of Souvenir FAMAS | Mecha Industries ranges from 0 to 0.5; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.5 — 10% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Glove Collection with 17 skins in total.
It drops from Glove Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Red, white and black stickers fit the finish best and echo its accent lines. Placements on the flat side of the receiver below the carry handle sit on the clean pale area and read well against it.
What to look at before you buy
- Check the float position within the grade, as lower values keep the white plates noticeably cleaner.
- Inspect the top edge of the carry handle and the muzzle, since these parts lose paint first.
- Look at the bottom of the magazine and the stock corners for scratches on worn copies.
- Note any applied stickers or name tag, as they change how the clean white body looks.
Who should buy Battle-Scarred
- An entry point for anyone who wants the design at the lowest cost.
- Players who know the limited range keeps even this grade fairly presentable.
- The most economical way to own this FAMAS.
