The finish is built on contrast: pale ceramic-like plates, red accent lines and darker mechanical panels between them. In Minimal Wear the look is practically intact, with only faint marks on the outermost edges that are hard to spot without inspecting the rifle up close.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Minimal Wear
The receiver and the long carry handle are covered in off-white plates with thin red stripes running along the handle and the side of the body. Dark grey inserts sit under the handle and along the lower receiver, with ribbed details and panel lines that suggest machine parts.
Tiny scuffs may appear on the muzzle and the top edge of the carry handle. The large pale panels and the red lines remain intact. At normal distance in game it is practically indistinguishable from Factory New. The stock pattern and magazine stay clean.
Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15
The float of Souvenir FAMAS | Mecha Industries ranges from 0 to 0.5; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 16% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
Souvenir FAMAS | Mecha Industries belongs to The Glove Collection, which holds 17 skins.
It drops from Glove Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Red, white and black stickers fit the finish best and echo its accent lines. Placements on the flat side of the receiver below the carry handle sit on the clean pale area and read well against it.
What to check before buying
- Check the float position within the grade, as lower values keep the white plates noticeably cleaner.
- Inspect the top edge of the carry handle and the muzzle, since these parts lose paint first.
- Look at the bottom of the magazine and the stock corners for scratches on worn copies.
- Note any applied stickers or name tag, as they change how the clean white body looks.
Who should buy Minimal Wear
- Players who want a near-new look in game and can accept marks visible only up close.
- Sticker crafts where a clean base matters but the top grade is not required.
- A sensible step down from Factory New with almost the same appearance.
