Skin overview

FAMAS | Pulse is recognised by its fuchsia shard pattern spread over the receiver, stock and magazine. In Field-Tested the pink starts to chip on the carry handle and other edges, showing grey metal beneath. From a normal viewing distance the colour scheme still reads clearly.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The FAMAS has a dark gunmetal base covered with angular fuchsia and violet fragments. The carry handle and receiver carry the densest pink areas, while the stock shows a radiating cracked pattern like broken glass.

Visible chips appear on the carry handle, the stock edges and the magazine edges, showing grey metal. The flat sides of the receiver and stock keep most of the fuchsia shards. In game the pink still reads clearly, with some roughness on the upper outline. The colours themselves stay bright where the paint remains.

Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir FAMAS | Pulse is 0–0.4; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (57% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Pink, purple and black stickers blend with the fuchsia fragments and dark base. Holographic or foil stickers in violet tones suit the receiver side near the carry handle.

What to check before buying

• Check the float position within the wear grade, since a lower value keeps more pink on the carry handle.
• Inspect the top of the carry handle and the stock edges, where the paint chips first.
• Look at the magazine edges on worn copies, as grey patches there are visible in first person.
• Check applied stickers and any name tag, as they change the look and the value of a copy.
