Skin overview

Battle-Scarred strips large parts of the eye tiles away and mixes grey metal into the pink and purple. The skin keeps its colour identity on the sides of the receiver, which gives the cheapest grade a rough, weathered take on the dream-themed artwork.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The carry handle and upper receiver are lined with rows of reddish-pink square tiles, each painted with a lifelike eye, laid over a deep purple base. The tiles continue along the side of the receiver and onto the stock, where the purple background shows small light specks between them.

Heavy paint loss covers the carry handle, the magazine and much of the stock, with many eyes erased entirely. Grey metal mixes with the remaining pink and purple. The recessed areas on the receiver sides keep the most colour. In game it reads as a weathered purple rifle with scattered fragments of the eye pattern.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Pink, red and purple stickers, as well as holo finishes with violet tones, sit well against the tile pattern. Eye-themed or dark minimal stickers on the receiver side below the carry handle keep the dream motif without covering the most detailed tiles.

What to check before buying

• Check the float position within the chosen wear, since a low float in a grade can look close to the cleaner one.
• Inspect the top of the carry handle, because it stays in view in first person and wears first.
• Look at the magazine base and stock rear for bare metal, especially on Field-Tested and below.
• StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions exist, so make sure the listing is the version you want and check any applied stickers.
