Souvenir FAMAS | Snake Song (Factory New)

Skin overview

FAMAS | Snake Song covers the rifle in a matte gold base with a green snake coiling along the body, its scales traced in a bright gold outline. In Factory New the outline stays crisp and the scale texture reads sharply on the stock and the carry handle. This grade shows the artwork as it was painted, with nothing softened.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The whole rifle is painted in a matte gold base, over which a green snake with detailed scales winds across the receiver, the carry handle and the stock. The stock holds the snake's head area with small red accents, while its body continues along the side of the receiver.

The gold base is even and matte across all parts, with no visible scratches. The snake's scales and the bright outline are sharp on the stock, receiver and carry handle. The magazine and grip edges are fully painted. In game the rifle reads as a clean gold body with a distinct green serpent.

Factory New wear: float 0–0.07

The float of Souvenir FAMAS | Snake Song ranges from 0 to 1; the Factory New quality covers 0–0.07 — 7% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Price by quality

Among 7 skins of the FAMAS in the Mil-Spec Grade grade and this quality, this skin is the most affordable.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Gold, green and dark olive stickers blend with the matte base and the snake's coils. Holo or gold-toned stickers on the receiver side echo the bright outline, while a small red accent can tie in with the details on the stock.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since the gold outline fades noticeably as wear grows.
• Inspect the top of the carry handle, the muzzle and the magazine base, as these lose paint first.
• Souvenir copies come with pre-applied stickers, so look at how they sit over the snake artwork.
• Look at any name tag and applied stickers to make sure they suit the gold-and-green finish.

Who the Factory New quality suits

• Collectors who want the snake and its gold outline at full sharpness.
• Sticker crafters who need a clean base for gold or holo applications.
• The choice for those who want the artwork exactly as painted.
