Skin overview

In Well-Worn the finish moves away from a crisp graphic look towards a used metal rifle. The red lines break up on the carry handle and stock, and the grey base shows clear rubbing along the edges. The orange accents on the barrel and charging handle remain the brightest spots and keep the skin identifiable.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Well-Worn

The receiver and the long carry handle are finished in dark gunmetal grey, crossed by thin red lines that run along the contours like circuit traces. The charging handle and the bolt rod are bright orange-red, and an orange honeycomb-like band sits along the side of the body above the trigger guard.

The top of the carry handle and the stock edges show clear rubbing, and the red lines there are broken into segments. The barrel stripes and flash hider lose some colour, and wear spreads onto the receiver sides. In game the rifle reads as dark and used, with the red pattern less defined. The orange charging handle and the central part of the body keep most of their colour.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

The float of Souvenir FAMAS | Valence ranges from 0 to 0.8; the Well-Worn quality covers 0.38–0.45 — 9% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Souvenir FAMAS | Valence belongs to The Wildfire Collection, which holds 16 skins.

The source is Operation Wildfire Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Red, black and dark metallic stickers match the grey base and red line work without breaking the scheme. Orange accents can echo the barrel and charging handle, while placing stickers on the receiver side keeps the carry handle pattern visible.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since a low float keeps the red lines on the carry handle noticeably cleaner.
  • Look at the top of the carry handle and the stock edges first, as these lose paint before the rest of the rifle.
  • Inspect applied stickers and any name tag, because they change both the look and the value of the copy.
  • Confirm whether the copy is StatTrak™ or Souvenir if that matters to you, since both versions exist.

Who should buy Well-Worn

  • Budget buyers who want the design with a visibly used character.
  • Players who rarely inspect the weapon and care about the overall colours.
  • A cheaper option that still keeps the skin identifiable.
