Skin overview

Candy Apple keeps its identity even when used, because a red slide on a dark frame stays readable from any distance. In Field-Tested the red shows chips and scuffs on the edges of the slide and around the muzzle, giving the pistol a used tool look. Since this finish does not go beyond Field-Tested, even this grade stays fairly tidy.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New and Minimal Wear.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The slide is painted a solid bright red along its full length, from the muzzle face to the rear serrations. The frame, accessory rail, trigger guard and textured grip are a dark grey-black, so the pistol splits cleanly into a red top and a dark bottom.

The red is clearly chipped along the slide edges, around the muzzle and over the rear serrations, with lighter scuffs creeping onto the sides. The dark frame shows some wear on the trigger guard and grip edges. In game the pistol still reads as red over black, with the scratches visible mostly in first-person view. The middle of the slide sides and the grip panels stay the cleanest areas.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.3

The float of Souvenir Five-SeveN | Candy Apple ranges from 0 to 0.3; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.3 — 50% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Assault Collection with 7 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Black, white and red stickers keep the clean two-tone look, while gold or silver foil adds an accent without breaking it. Stickers placed on the dark frame stand out more than ones on the red slide.

What to check before buying

  • Look at the muzzle end and the rear serrations of the slide, since the red chips there first.
  • In Field-Tested, compare where the float sits in the range, because copies near the clean end look noticeably fresher.
  • There is no pattern on this finish, so you only need to compare condition, stickers and name tag.
  • Check that applied stickers do not clash with the bright red slide.

Who should buy Field-Tested

  • Budget buyers who want a recognisable red pistol for everyday matches.
  • Players who like a lightly used, worked-in look on a plain finish.
  • In short: the most affordable way into this colour scheme, still neat enough for regular play.
