Skin overview

The skin is built on contrast rather than detail: a solid red top half and a dark lower half, nothing more. At Minimal Wear the finish reads almost the same as a fresh copy, with only faint marks along sharp edges that are hard to spot in a match. For many buyers this grade gives the full look of the skin at a more relaxed level of condition.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The slide is painted a solid bright red along its full length, from the muzzle face to the rear serrations. The frame, accessory rail, trigger guard and textured grip are a dark grey-black, so the pistol splits cleanly into a red top and a dark bottom.

Small specks of lost paint may appear on the muzzle end and the sharpest upper edges of the slide. The flat sides of the slide stay solid red, and the frame and grip remain clean. At normal viewing distance the difference from Factory New is barely noticeable. The overall colour contrast is fully intact.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15

The float of Souvenir Five-SeveN | Candy Apple ranges from 0 to 0.3; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 27% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Assault Collection with 7 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Black, white and red stickers keep the clean two-tone look, while gold or silver foil adds an accent without breaking it. Stickers placed on the dark frame stand out more than ones on the red slide.

• Look at the muzzle end and the rear serrations of the slide, since the red chips there first.
