Souvenir Five-SeveN | Copper Galaxy (Field-Tested)

Skin overview

Field-Tested is the most worn grade this skin comes in, and the finish still holds up well because its float range stops early. The copper flake slide remains the main feature, with the dark frame framing it as before. Light rubbing on the slide edges gives it a slightly used look without breaking the copper surface.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New and Minimal Wear. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The slide is fully covered in copper metal flake paint, from the muzzle end to the rear serrations, which are picked out in a brighter copper tone. The frame, trigger guard, rail and grip stay in dark grey with the textured grip panel left unchanged.

Wear is noticeable along the slide edges, around the muzzle and on the rear serrations, where the copper gets thinner and slightly duller. The marks are light and do not form large bare patches. In game the slide still reads as copper, and the wear is visible mainly in inspect. The sides of the slide keep most of their flake shine.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.2

The float of Souvenir Five-SeveN | Copper Galaxy ranges from 0 to 0.2; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.2 — 25% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Arms Deal 3 Collection with 12 skins in total.

The source is CS:GO Weapon Case 3 (on sale since Sep 20, 2013).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Gold, bronze and holo stickers in warm tones match the copper slide well. Black, deep blue or star-themed stickers pick up the dark space motif. Placing them on the slide keeps them in view next to the copper, while the grey frame suits a calmer look.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the clean end of a grade look closest to the better one.
• Look at the slide edges, the muzzle and the rear serrations first, as these lose paint before the rest.
• The flake pattern is the same on every copy, so there is no reason to pay extra for a particular pattern.
• Check applied stickers and name tags, because they change how the copper slide looks.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

• Budget buyers who want the copper slide at the most affordable grade.
• Players who do not inspect often and care about how the pistol reads in a match.
• The entry option that still keeps the main look intact.
