Souvenir Five-SeveN | Copper Galaxy (Minimal Wear)

Skin overview

This Five-SeveN is defined by a warm copper slide over a plain gunmetal frame, a simple two-tone look that is easy to read. The metal flake paint gives the copper depth instead of a flat colour. In Minimal Wear the slide keeps its glow, and any marks stay small enough to vanish in the flake texture.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New and Field-Tested. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The slide is fully covered in copper metal flake paint, from the muzzle end to the rear serrations, which are picked out in a brighter copper tone. The frame, trigger guard, rail and grip stay in dark grey with the textured grip panel left unchanged.

Tiny scuffs may appear on the front edge of the slide and on the tips of the rear serrations. They are hard to tell apart from the flakes themselves, even in inspect. At normal distance the pistol looks the same as a Factory New copy. The flat surfaces of the slide and the whole frame remain clean.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15

The float of Souvenir Five-SeveN | Copper Galaxy ranges from 0 to 0.2; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 40% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Arms Deal 3 Collection with 12 skins in total.

It drops from CS:GO Weapon Case 3 (on sale since Sep 20, 2013).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Gold, bronze and holo stickers in warm tones match the copper slide well. Black, deep blue or star-themed stickers pick up the dark space motif. Placing them on the slide keeps them in view next to the copper, while the grey frame suits a calmer look.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the clean end of a grade look closest to the better one.
• Look at the slide edges, the muzzle and the rear serrations first, as these lose paint before the rest.
• The flake pattern is the same on every copy, so there is no reason to pay extra for a particular pattern.
• Check applied stickers and name tags, because they change how the copper slide looks.

Who should buy Minimal Wear

• Players who want a near-clean look without paying for the top grade.
• Crafters happy with marks that disappear in the flake texture.
• A sensible middle option that looks almost the same in game.
