Skin overview
Battle-Scarred Fowl Play keeps the teal base colour, but the slide carries heavy scratching that cuts through the feather shapes. The grey frame changes little, so the contrast between upper and lower parts becomes softer. It suits players who like a rough look or want the skin at its most accessible grade.
Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.
Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Battle-Scarred
The slide is painted in a glossy teal patina, with dark charcoal and light grey feather shapes running along its top and sides. The frame, accessory rail, trigger guard and grip are left in matte dark grey, with lighter grey controls standing out on the side.
Heavy scratching covers most of the slide, cutting through the feather pattern on the top and sides. The muzzle end and serrations are the most worn areas. In game the slide reads as a weathered teal surface with only fragments of the motif. The grey frame and grip change least and keep the pistol looking coherent.
Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–1
The float of Souvenir Five-SeveN | Fowl Play ranges from 0 to 1; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–1 — 55% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Breakout Collection with 14 skins in total.
The source is Operation Breakout Weapon Case (on sale since Jun 23, 2014).
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Stickers in teal, white, black or grey tones blend with the feather slide without breaking the colour scheme. Placing them on the grey frame below the slide keeps the feather pattern unobstructed, while a single accent in a warm colour can add contrast.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since a low float keeps the slide edges noticeably cleaner.
- Inspect the muzzle end, top edge and rear serrations of the slide, as these lose the finish first.
- Look at the feather placement on the slide in the inspect view to make sure the pattern sits the way you like.
- Note any applied stickers or name tag, as they change the look of the plain grey frame.
Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits
- Budget entry for players who want this skin on their Five-SeveN.
- Fans of rough, heavily scratched finishes.
- Conclusion: the most accessible way to own the skin.
