Souvenir Five-SeveN | Midnight Paintover (Battle-Scarred)

Skin overview

Five-SeveN | Midnight Paintover keeps its teal-and-navy identity even in the most worn grade. Because this skin's float range ends early, Battle-Scarred copies cover only the cleanest part of that grade, and the slide looks closer to a heavy Well-Worn than to a stripped weapon. Scratched-through areas on the slide mix with the graffiti and blend into its chaotic look.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The slide is covered with a hydrographic graffiti pattern of bright teal and cyan splashes over dark navy and black, running from the muzzle to the rear sight. The lower part of the slide and the rail area show the same teal pattern on a lighter metallic base, and the trigger carries it as well.

The front edge, muzzle, top of the slide and rear sight show heavy wear, with scratched-through areas mixed into the graffiti. Since the range stops early, the damage stays at the mild end of this grade and does not strip the slide. In game the pistol looks worn and gritty but still blue and black. The central sides of the slide keep visible pattern.

Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.5

The whole float range of Souvenir Five-SeveN | Midnight Paintover is 0–0.5; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.5 segment (10% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Stickers and crafts

Teal, cyan, white and black stickers continue the graffiti palette well. Holo or foil stickers in cool blue tones placed on the slide work best, while warm colours can contrast strongly with the dark frame.

What to check before buying

• Look at the front edge of the slide and the muzzle, since these show wear first on this finish.
• Check where the float sits within the grade, especially for Field-Tested and Well-Worn copies where the difference is visible.
• Remember that Battle-Scarred copies of this skin only cover the cleanest end of that grade.
• Check for applied stickers or a name tag, which can change how the slide looks.

Who should buy Battle-Scarred

• Budget players looking for the cheapest entry to this skin.
• Those who like worn finishes but do not want a stripped slide.
• A cheap option that still looks recognisably blue and black.
