Skin overview

Retrobution is recognisable by its cream, mint and orange stripe scheme, which stays readable as a whole even when the paint is no longer perfect. In Field-Tested the front of the slide and the rail start to show chipped paint, adding a used, vintage character that fits the retro theme.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The base of the finish is a warm cream colour, crossed by parallel stripes of yellow, orange, red, mint and brown that run the length of the slide and frame. The top of the slide is dark charcoal with small orange chevron arrows, and the rear serrations carry a red and orange striped block.

Chipping becomes visible on the front of the slide, along the rail and at the muzzle edge. Light scuffs can start on the trigger guard edge. The middle of the slide, the chevrons and most of the grip stay clean, so the design reads clearly in game.

The whole float range of Souvenir Five-SeveN | Retrobution is 0–1; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (23% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Stickers in orange, red, mint or cream tones blend with the stripe palette, and retro-styled designs suit the theme. Placing them on the cream area of the slide keeps the chevrons and the grip stripes visible.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the paint loss on the slide front changes noticeably inside one grade.
• Inspect the muzzle, rail and trigger guard first, as these parts lose paint before the rest of the pistol.
• Look at the cream grip panel for scuffs, because marks are easy to see on the light base.
• Check applied stickers and any name tag, especially on Souvenir copies where stickers come preset.
