Show allAllSkin overview
The skin pairs a military olive base with tan geometric panels and black detailing on the barrel and top of the receiver. In Minimal Wear the finish reads as clean in game, with only small marks that show up on close inspection near the muzzle and scope. It keeps nearly the same look as the cleanest grade at a lower step.
Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Minimal Wear
The receiver carries an olive green base broken by large tan wedges and black outlined panels, while its top rail and the trigger area stay dark. The barrel is black with tan bands, and the muzzle device has a tan tip.
Small scratches may appear on the muzzle tip and the front ring of the scope. The receiver, stock and magazine look untouched. At normal distance the difference from Factory New is hard to spot. The colour contrast of the pattern is fully preserved.
Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15
The whole float range of Souvenir G3SG1 | Black Sand is 0–0.8; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (10% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Shattered Web Collection with 17 skins in total.
The source is Shattered Web Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Stickers in gold, tan, black or olive tones match the artwork without breaking the camo look. Placing them on the receiver side next to the tan wedges keeps the layout balanced, while bright blue or pink stickers will stand out strongly against the scheme.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end keep more of the tan bands.
- Look at the muzzle tip and scope rings first, as these parts show wear earliest.
- Inspect the stock edges and the bottom of the magazine on Field-Tested and lower copies.
- Note any applied stickers or name tag and whether they match the tan and olive scheme.
Who should buy Minimal Wear
- Players who want a clean-looking rifle in game without paying for the top grade.
- Crafters who accept tiny marks on the muzzle and scope.
- Conclusion: almost the Factory New look at a lower step.
