Skin overview

The G3SG1 | Flux combines deep metallic purple panels with flowing silver-grey shapes along the body and stock. Minimal Wear keeps that contrast almost intact, and any marks are usually small spots on edges that are hard to notice in game. It gives nearly the same look as the cleanest grade, usually at a lower cost.

Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The handguard, receiver and stock are covered with glossy metallic purple panels, broken up by flowing silver-grey shapes that run along the body. The scope tube is purple with black end caps, while the barrel, flash hider and sights stay dark.

Small scuffs may appear on the scope tube and the sharpest edges of the receiver or magazine. The large purple panels on the handguard and stock stay clean. At normal viewing distance in game the rifle looks practically the same as Factory New.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir G3SG1 | Flux is 0–0.9; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (9% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Purple, silver and holographic stickers match the metallic finish best. Black or chrome-style stickers on the receiver keep the dark, restrained look, while bright warm colours tend to clash with the purple.

• Check where the float sits within its wear grade, since lower values keep more purple on the scope and edges.
• Look at the scope tube and magazine first, as they show wear earliest on this finish.
• On worn copies, check how much purple remains on the stock and handguard panels.
• Check any applied stickers and name tag to make sure they fit what you want on the rifle.
