Show allAllSkin overview
Orange Kimono is recognisable by its orange stock and grip against a dark, lightly patterned receiver and a scope traced with orange geometric lines. In Field-Tested the orange starts to show visible chips on the stock edges and grip, while the dark front half hides wear well. The rifle still reads as orange and black from any normal distance.
Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
Appearance in Field-Tested
The receiver and handguard are dark graphite grey, covered with a subtle darker geometric lattice that is visible only up close. The barrel, flash hider and magazine stay plain dark metal, while the scope tube carries orange geometric lines over a black base.
Chips are visible on the edges of the stock and on the pistol grip, showing dark base through the orange. The receiver lattice starts to soften slightly, and the scope lines lose some definition. In game the orange furniture still dominates and the wear is noticeable mainly in inspect. The magazine and barrel show little change because they carry no pattern.
Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of Souvenir G3SG1 | Orange Kimono is 0–0.8; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (29% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir G3SG1 | Orange Kimono belongs to The Rising Sun Collection, which holds 16 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Orange, black and gold stickers match the scheme best, especially on the dark receiver where they stand out without clashing. White or grey accents also sit well against the graphite metal. Bright blue or green designs tend to fight with the orange furniture.
What to check before buying
- Check the edges of the orange stock and the pistol grip, since that is where chips show first.
- Look at where the float sits within its wear range, because a low float in a grade keeps the orange noticeably cleaner.
- Inspect the scope lines and the receiver lattice on worn copies to see how much of the pattern is left.
- Note any applied stickers or name tag and whether they fit the orange and black scheme.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Players who want the orange and black look for everyday matches.
- Budget buyers who accept chips that are mostly visible only in inspect.
- Conclusion: a balanced middle option for play.
